Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure the supply, desupply, and delivery of office furniture to Greater Tzaneen Municipality. The aim is to acquire quality office furniture that meets specified standards and specifications, ensuring functional and ergonomic workspaces for municipal offices.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Provision of office furniture as detailed in the specifications, including chairs, tables, and other office furnishings.
• Delivery and installation of the furniture at designated municipal locations.
• Compliance with technical and quality standards specified by the municipality.
• Adherence to the procurement process, including submission of supporting documents and participation in a mandatory briefing session.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements specify that:

• Furniture must meet the specifications outlined in the manufacturer’s product description, including ergonomic features, durability, and quality standards.
• Items such as ergonomic office chairs, visitor chairs, round tables, office tables, and boardroom chairs are required.
• All furniture must be delivered with proper assembly and installation.
• Supporting documentation such as catalogues and technical product descriptions must be submitted with the bid.
• The service provider must demonstrate relevant experience and provide proof of previous work.

Skills and Experience Requirements

The bidder must possess the following skills and experience:

• Company work experience in supplying and delivering office furniture, with a minimum project value of R300,000.
• At least five appointment letters or orders for similar projects, demonstrating relevant experience.
• Technical capability to meet the specifications and quality standards outlined in the tender documents.
• Ability to deliver and assemble furniture as per the specifications and within the stipulated timeframe.
