Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure services for the removal, dismantling, and re-assembly of all office furniture from the specified location at 20 Paul Kruger Street, Absa Quare Building, Mbombela. Additionally, the scope includes packaging of current files into approximately 300 supplied boxes, transportation within a maximum radius of 5 kilometers, loading, off-loading, and insurance coverage for the entire process.

Scope

The scope encompasses:

• Disassembly of various office furniture items as detailed in the specifications.
• Packaging of files into supplied boxes.
• Transportation of all furniture and files from the current premises to the new location within a 5 km radius.
• Loading and off-loading at both locations.
• Re-assembly of furniture at the new site.
• Provision of insurance coverage for the entire operation.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Handling a variety of office furniture such as desks, credenzas, cabinets, chairs, conference tables, and accessories as specified in the detailed list.
• Proper dismantling and re-assembly of furniture items to ensure their integrity and functionality.
• Packaging files into approximately 300 boxes using supplied packaging materials.
• Safe transportation within a 5 km radius, including loading and off-loading procedures.
• Provision of insurance for all items during transit and handling.

Skills Requirements

The tenderer must demonstrate:

• Experience in office furniture dismantling, re-assembly, and relocation services.
