Description: Multi-functional thermal printerthe city is conducting market research for available printers to print point of sale receipts, permits and cash deposit slips. The required printer must be a dual station printer (dual functional) with multiple interfaces for usb, serial and ethernet. It must print fast and have good receipt quality. The printer, which will connect to a point of sale must print:1.Receipts, as per the attached sample no: 1, on a thermal paper roll which is 80mm wide.2.Permits, on a pre-printed a5 template, as per the attached sample no:2. The user will insert the said template into the printer to print on. For this the printer must have a printing ribbon.3.Cash deposit slips, on a pre-printed a5 template, as per the attached sample no:3. The user will insert the said template into the printer to print on. For this the printer must have a printing ribbon.Kindly provide pricing for a printer or printers that meet the above specification. Kindly send all responses to scm.research@capetown.gov.za
