Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply, install, license, and support the latest version of AutoCAD software for a period of three (3) years. The solution aims to enhance the Makhado Local Municipality's engineering and planning capabilities by providing industry-standard CAD tools that support both 2D and 3D modeling, cloud collaboration, and specialized toolsets.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Provision of five (5) AutoCAD cloud-enabled desktop licenses for concurrent users over three years.
• Installation and configuration of AutoCAD software (latest version, including specialized toolsets such as Architecture, Electrical, Mechanical, MEP, Raster Design).
• Provision of technical support, updates, and cloud storage integration (minimum 100 GB per user).
• Training and documentation related to the software deployment and usage.
• Ensuring compliance with technical, security, and licensing requirements.

Technical Requirements

The software must meet the following technical specifications:

• Support for both Windows 10/11 and MacOS (latest supported versions).
• Cloud-enabled desktop application with web and desktop access modes.
• Integration with cloud storage services such as Autodesk Docs, OneDrive, or Google Drive.
• Specialized AutoCAD toolsets (Architecture, Electrical, Mechanical, MEP, Raster Design).
• Subscription license for commercial use, valid for three years.
• Minimum 100 GB cloud storage per user.
• Secure login with Single Sign-On (SSO), role-based access control, and data encryption in transit and at rest.
• Support and updates included throughout the subscription period, with 24/7 Autodesk or authorized reseller support.

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must demonstrate:

• Proficiency in deploying and configuring AutoCAD software in cloud and hybrid environments.
• Experience in providing technical support, training, and user documentation for AutoCAD and related specialized toolsets.
• Knowledge of cloud storage integration, security protocols, and compliance standards.
• Capability to deliver ongoing updates, support, and maintenance for the duration of the three-year contract.
• Ability to ensure seamless user access, collaboration, and data security across platforms.
