Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a service provider for the supply and delivery of cleaning materials on an as-and-when-required basis to Metsimaholo Municipality. Scope

The scope includes the provision of a wide range of cleaning materials and equipment as specified in the product list. The supplier must supply these items as per the specifications, either brand items or equivalent alternatives, and deliver them upon request. The contract covers the supply of various cleaning chemicals, tools, and accessories necessary for municipal cleaning operations.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements specify that:

• Items must meet the specified product descriptions and quality standards.
• Equivalent items to the stated brands must be quoted where applicable.
• All products must be suitable for their intended cleaning purposes and comply with relevant safety and quality standards.
• Items should be delivered on an as-and-when-required basis, adhering to the municipality’s delivery schedule.
• Bid documents must be purchased from the municipality, and submissions must include all required documentation such as company registration, tax compliance, and municipal accounts or lease agreements.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

Bidder qualifications include:

• Company registration not older than three months.
• Proof of good standing with no arrears exceeding 90 days.
• Provision of a company bank confirmation letter with the company's address or a recent bank statement.
• Tax compliance documentation such as SARS tax pin.
• Ability to supply a comprehensive list of products meeting the specifications.
• Understanding of municipal procurement processes and compliance with the evaluation criteria based on price and local goals.
