A compulsory clarification meeting with representatives of the Employer will take place as follows: -

Site to be visited: Abstraction point and farms (if required)
Directions: Askham is a village in the Dawid Kruiper Local Municipality in the ZF Mgcawu District Municipality in the Northern Cape province of South Africa. Askham lies not far from the confluence of the mostly dry Molopo and Kuruman Rivers in the Red Kalahari Desert, about 200 km north of Upington at the junction of the R31 and the R360 roads.
From Upington head south toward Dederick St 3min (2.8km), follow R360 for 1h 35min (178 KM) and drive to your destination for 3min (750 m)
Special Conditions:
Bidders shall be registered with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) and should have a minimum CIDB Contractor grading of 4CE or higher.
Only tenderers who meet the following Pre-qualification criteria for Preferential Procurement may respond:
• An EME or QSE.
Bidders must attach either their B- BBEE Status Level Verification Certificates (Verification Agencies accredited by SANAS or Sworn Affidavit signed by the deponent and attested by the Commissioner of Oaths)
NB: The department reserves the right to request bidders to submit their current Audited Financial Statement/s.
Note: Any tender not complying with the above-mentioned stipulation, will be regarded as non-responsive and will therefore not be considered for further evaluation.
Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA), Act no. 5 of 2000 and Preferential Procurement Regulation, 2017. The 80/20 Preference Point system will be applied where a maximum of Eighty (80) tender adjudication points will be awarded for price and Twenty (20) points will be awarded for preference.
