Briefing Session


A Compulsory Tender Briefing/ Site Inspection meeting will be conducted at 11h00 on 25th April 2019. Prospective tenderers shall meet on site at Muyexe Brick Yard, Muyexe village situated at Giyani Local Municipality in the Mopani District Municipality, Limpopo Province.

Special Conditions:


Bidders shall be registered with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) and should have a minimum CIDB Contractor grading of 8CE or higher.

Only tenderers who meet the following Pre-qualification criteria for Preferential Procurement may respond:

(c) A tenderer subcontracting a minimum of 30% to either of the following-

I. ( An EME or QSE

II. An EME or QSE which is at least 51% owned by black people;

III. An EME or QSE which is at least 51% owned by black people who are youth;

IV. An EME or QSE which is at least 51% owned by black people who are women;

V. An EME or QSE which is at least 51% owned by black people with disabilities;

VI. An EME or QSE which is at least 51% owned by black people living in rural or

underdeveloped areas or townships;

VII. A cooperative which is at least 51% owned by black people;

VIII. An EME or QSE which is at least 51% owned by black people who are military veterans.

Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA), Act no. 5 of 2000 and its associated Regulations of 2017. The 80/20 Preference Point system will be applied where a maximum of Eighty (80) tender adjudication points will be awarded for price and Twenty (20) points will be awarded for preference.
