A compulsory briefing session will be held on site:

Time: 12:00 PM
Venue: Umsilinga Primary School in Copesville, Umgungundlovu District, KwaZulu-Natal. The Co-ordinates to the school are: 29˚ 32’ 22”S 30 25’ 18.87”E.

Special Conditions:

Bidders shall be registered with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) and should have an active CIDB Contractor grading

of 4GB or higher. Potential emerging bidders with 3GB PE and lower will not be eligible to bid.


Preference will be given to respondents who comply with the CDC’s Procurement Policy & procedure.


Contractors must be registered with National Treasury’s Centralized Supplier Database (CSD) and CIPC (formerly CIPRO).


Bid documents can be collected from the CDC Umhlanga Office, 18 Cranbrook Crescent, Umhlanga, Durban from 8th  November 2019 from 10h00.  A non-refundable bid fee of R 200.00 should be deposited to Account Name: CDC – DoE; Standard Bank, Account No: 080 224 555, Branch Code 050 017 and proof of payment is required upon collection of the bid documents. No tender document will be available at the Briefing Meeting. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED.

One original completed bid document shall be placed in a sealed envelope clearly marked: “CDC/377/19 – Completion of New Umsilinga Primary School in Umgungundlovu District”.
