EHLANZENI DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY INVITES BIDS FOR THE ABOVE-MENTIONED TENDER
Bids will be evaluated based on functionality, price and B-BBEE status level of contribution in accordance with the 80/20 point system. In order to claim points for B-BBEE status level of contribution, bidders must attach a certified copy of a B-BBEE verification certificate or sworn affidavit.
Bidders must obtain a minimum of 65 points out of possible 100 points on functionality in order to qualify for further evaluation on price and B-BBEE status level of contribution when applying the 80/20 evaluation point system in terms of the PPPFA and its Regulations.
It is estimated that bidders should have a CIDB grading of 2ME or Higher
Only bidders who have provided the following information and documents to be used to evaluate the bidder's responsiveness will be considered for further evaluation on functionality:
Note that bidders who submit their offers as Joint Venture or Consortium must attach a Joint Venture or Consortium Agreement signed by all parties, and all parties must attend the compulsory briefing session or register as such during the briefing session.

The tender comprises of local content and production for designated sectors such as locally produced or locally manufactured steel products (100%) and valves and pumps (100), and prospective service providers are required by law to complete the MBD 6.2 with its Templates- Annexures C, D and E (Local production), failure to complete the documents will lead to automatic disqualification as the bid will be considered non responsive.
NB: All MBD forms must be fully completed in full and failure to do so will result on the bid being disqualified.
