Special Conditions:

Sarah Baartman District Municipality invites bids for the Supply and Erection of Two (2) Satellite Stations in Alicedale and Riebeeck East, Makana Municipality.

Bid documents with the necessary specifications may be obtained at a non-refundable cost of R100.00 from the Supply Chain Management Unit, Fourth Floor, 32 Govan Mbeki Avenue, Port Elizabeth, tel. 041 508 7007.

Sealed bid documents clearly marked "BID NO. 12/2020: SUPPLY AND ERECTION OF TWO (2) SATELLITE STATIONS IN ALICEDALE AND RIEBEECK EAST, MAKANA MUNICIPALITY" must be deposited in the bid box at the Sarah Baartman District Municipality, 32 Govan Mbeki Avenue, Port Elizabeth, not later than 12h00 noon on Tuesday, 24 March 2020. Thereafter, bids will be opened in public in the Committee Room No. 1, 32 Govan Mbeki Avenue, Port Elizabeth. 

Please note that the Supply Chain Management Policy of Sarah Baartman District Municipality will be used to adjudicate the bid and the 80/20 preferencial points system shall apply whereby a contract will be allocated to a bidder in accordance with the Preferential Procurement Regulations, 2017 as and defined in the Conditions of the Contract in the bid document, where 80 points will be allocated in respect of price and 20 points will be awarded for attaining B-BBEE status level of contributor.

No late, incomplete, fascimile or emailed bids will be accepted. Failure to submit any compulsory document(s) shall render the bid null and void. The only or lowest bid shall not necessarily be accepted. SBDM reserves the right to accept part of or the full bid.
