Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to solicit quotations for the calibration of 4 MSA Gas Monitors and 5 MSA Gas Monitors for the South African National Petroleum Company (SANPC). The aim is to ensure the monitors are properly calibrated to meet operational standards and compliance requirements.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Calibration of four existing MSA Gas Monitors.
• Calibration of five additional MSA Gas Monitors.
• Site visit to facilitate calibration activities.
• Provision of all necessary services, equipment, and documentation to complete the calibration process.

The scope also encompasses compliance with technical and administrative requirements as specified in the tender documentation, including submission of relevant supplier information and compliance certificates.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications and requirements for the calibration services include:

• Calibration must be performed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and relevant standards.
• Suppliers must provide proof of compliance with B-BBEE status levels, tax compliance, and registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Suppliers must submit a fully completed SBD1 form and other relevant documentation, including declarations of interest and past supply chain practices.
• The calibration process should be documented with detailed reports, including before and after calibration data.
• Pricing must be inclusive of VAT, with a validity period of 60 days from the closing date.
• Suppliers are expected to demonstrate capability to deliver within the specified timeframe and meet quality standards.

Additional technical requirements include adherence to evaluation criteria based on price (80%) and specific goals such as B-BBEE compliance (20%), with provisions for post-tender negotiations if necessary.
