Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a four-week data logger capable of retrieving electricity consumption data from four mini-substations. The data loggers should record events and compile detailed reports for each mini-substation, supporting the monitoring and analysis of electrical usage.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Provision of four data loggers, each designated for a mini-substation, to record electricity consumption over a 7-day period per substation.
• Event recording capabilities with detailed reporting for each mini-substation.
• Technical and compliance requirements as specified in the tender documentation.
• Adherence to government procurement procedures and submission of all mandatory documentation.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications and requirements for the data loggers include:

• Capability to operate for a duration of four weeks.
• Ability to retrieve electricity consumption data from four mini-substations.
• Record events and compile detailed reports per mini-substation.
• Compliance with relevant standards and certification requirements, including:
• Active registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) with a report not older than 2 months.
• Electrical Trade certificate for the technician providing the solution.
• Completed and signed SBD4 declaration form.

Additional technical and administrative conditions include:

• Submission of all required documentation to avoid disqualification.
• Use of the government procurement portal for application and submission.
• Adherence to the evaluation criteria based on price and preference points, with preference allocated as 20% for goal-specific criteria (e.g., BBBEE status) and 80% for price.
