Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to establish a contractual arrangement with an approved supplier or service provider capable of performing printing-related services for the College on an as-and-when basis. These services include copying, binding, laminating, and other related tasks necessary to support the College’s operational needs.

Scope

The scope of the tender encompasses:

• Provision of printing and copying services, including but not limited to making copies, binding, laminating, and finishing tasks.
• Delivery of these services on an as-and-when basis, as required by the College.
• Potential inclusion of related services and commodities as specified in the categories of goods and services applied for, such as office stationery, computer equipment, security, and training services.

The scope also involves the registration of suppliers on a database of approved suppliers and/or service level agreements, ensuring compliance with the College’s procurement policies.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the tender include:

• Completion of the application form with detailed business information, ownership details, and contact information.
• Submission of relevant documentation, including registration certificates, identity documents, VAT and tax certificates, B-BBEE certificates, municipal accounts, and industry-specific certifications (e.g., CIDB, PSIRA, Wireman’s license).
• Provision of bank details and confirmation of financial standing, including disclosure of any legal proceedings or judgments against the business.
• Demonstration of compliance with occupational health and safety policies and legislation.
• Submission of human resources policies, including employment equity and employee demographic data.
• Declaration of accreditation status with relevant Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs), if applicable.
• Attestation of the accuracy of information provided through a formal declaration signed by an authorized representative.
