Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a professional consultant and contractor for the construction of Amabele Paving and Stormwater Control on a turnkey basis. The project aims to enhance infrastructure by providing paving and stormwater management solutions as specified in the bid documentation.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Construction of paving at Amabele site.
• Implementation of stormwater control measures.
• Completion of the project on a turnkey basis, adhering to the minimum specifications outlined in the bid document.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Compliance with the minimum specifications detailed in the bid document.
• Registration with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) at grade 5CE or higher.
• Submission of all relevant and fully completed bid forms (e.g., MBD 1, MBD 3, MBD 4, MBD 6, MBD 9).
• Provision of signed joint venture agreements where applicable.
• Certification of all copies of documents, not older than six months.
• Submission of municipal rates and taxes or municipal services charges status.
• Adherence to all procurement policies and conditions, including submission of SARS PIN and use of original signatures.

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required include:

• Qualified professionals with experience in paving and stormwater infrastructure construction.
• Contractors registered with CIDB at the required grading level.
• Ability to meet administrative compliance and technical specifications as outlined in the bid documentation.
