Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a service provider to conduct job profiling for nine key positions within the organization. The process includes analyzing, updating, benchmarking, evaluating, and developing comprehensive job descriptions aligned with organizational values and sector norms. The outcome aims to enhance organizational structure, improve role clarity, and support HR development initiatives.

Scope

The scope of work encompasses:

• Analyzing and benchmarking job descriptions for the following positions:
  • Compliance Officer
  • Legal Advisor
  • Divisional Administrator
  • Technical and Marketing Manager
• Updating job specifications and grades based on benchmarking results.
• Conducting job evaluations using the Paterson grading system.
• Developing detailed job profiles, including key performance areas, job requirements, knowledge, and skills.
• Drafting a report with recommendations and developing an electronic catalog of all job profiles.
• Providing project management, including timelines, deliverables, and on-site presence for the duration of the project.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Expertise in job profiling, benchmarking, and evaluation within the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector.
• Ability to analyze and update job descriptions and grading in line with sector norms and organizational values.
• Use of the Paterson grading system for job evaluation.
• Development of electronic and physical documentation, including a comprehensive job profile library.
• Provision of qualified personnel with relevant experience and qualifications in organizational development, industrial engineering, or related fields.
• Availability of resources such as office space, internet, printers, and remote working capabilities (MS Teams access).

Skills Requirements

The skills and qualifications required from the service provider include:

• Master’s or honours degree in Human Resources Development, Human Resources Management, industrial psychology, organizational development, or industrial engineering.
• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in HR development, job profiling, and related services.
• Proven experience in designing job descriptions, grading, and benchmarking within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing sectors.
• Strong facilitation, communication, and presentation skills, supported by relevant qualifications and experience.
• Capability to develop and deliver electronic and printed job profile documentation.
• Team composition must include at least five members with tertiary qualifications and relevant sector experience.
• Ability to work both on-site and remotely, with access to MS Teams and other communication tools.
