Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply, deliver, and offload agrochemicals in accordance with the specified requirements. The aim is to procure quality agrochemicals that meet safety and industry standards, ensuring effective pest, weed, and disease control for agricultural purposes within the KwaZulu-Natal province.

Scope

The scope includes the supply, delivery, and offloading of specified agrochemicals to designated locations such as the Dundee Research Station Agronomy. The chemicals include herbicides, fungicides, and pesticides with detailed specifications and quantities outlined in the annexure. The procurement covers various agrochemical products, their quantities, and delivery to the specified address within the stipulated delivery period.

Technical Requirements

• Compliance with the specifications attached in the tender document, including product type, concentration, and packaging.
• Products must meet SABS specifications and have been inspected accordingly.
• Delivery to the specified address within the proposed delivery date (e.g., 30 May 2025).
• All products must be suitable for agricultural use and conform to safety and quality standards.
• Pricing must include VAT where applicable, with clear indication of total costs.
• Suppliers must hold the necessary CIDB grading (if applicable) and be registered on the CSD.
