Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to invite qualified suppliers to submit offers for the purchase, collection, and removal of 2 scrapped park homes located at Duvha Power Station, as detailed in the provided list. The process aims to facilitate the safe and efficient disposal of the specified scrap items in accordance with Eskom's requirements.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Inspection and viewing of the park homes (note: no formal viewing or clarification meeting will be held).
• Submission of an Offer to Purchase, including the full purchase price and acknowledgment of the item's condition.
• Responsible collection, handling, removal, loading, transportation, and site cleaning post-removal.
• Provision of necessary bins, qualified labor, and suitable certified plant, machinery, and equipment for removal.
• Ensuring the site is left clean after removal of the goods.

The goods will be identified by Eskom, and the successful bidder must adhere to all specified requirements for safe and compliant removal.

Technical Requirements

• The bidder must provide their own bins, qualified labor, and certified plant, machinery, and transport suitable for the removal process.
• The site must be left clean after the removal process.
• The goods are to be handled and transported safely, complying with all relevant safety and environmental standards.
• The bidder must ensure the proper identification of the scrap items as per Eskom's instructions.

Skills Requirements

• Qualified labor capable of safely handling and removing scrap materials.
• Experience in the handling and transportation of large scrap items, particularly park homes or similar structures.
• Ability to operate and manage certified plant and machinery required for removal.
