Objectives

The primary objectives of this tender are to:

• Conduct an internal audit to verify compliance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements for Agrément South Africa.
• Facilitate the clearance of any findings identified during the internal audit.
• Assist with the renewal or re-issuance of the ISO 9001:2015 certification through recertification processes.
• Identify a suitable accredited certification body (SANAS or equivalent) to issue the recertification certificate.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards and improve customer satisfaction through effective quality management systems.

Scope

The scope of the assignment includes:

• Performing a comprehensive internal audit of ASA’s Quality Management System (QMS) to verify conformance with ISO 9001:2015.
• Reviewing and verifying the implementation of all processes within ASA’s QMS.
• Facilitating the closure of audit findings and preparing ASA for the external recertification audit.
• Supporting the organization in achieving ISO 9001:2015 recertification by engaging with an accredited certification body.
• Producing an audit report with findings and corrective actions, and ensuring ASA’s readiness for the external certification audit.
• Assisting in the identification and engagement of an accredited certification body for issuing the recertification.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the service provider include:

• Proven experience in developing, implementing, and auditing ISO 9001:2015 systems.
• Demonstrated capability to conduct internal audits and facilitate certification processes.
• Qualified personnel, including Lead Auditors accredited by SAATCA or an equivalent body, with relevant experience (minimum 3 years for scoring points).
• Submission of CVs for key personnel, including the Lead Auditor, with relevant qualifications (e.g., SAATCA certification, NQF level 7 or higher).
• At least three recent contactable references for similar services rendered within the past three years.
• Ability to prepare comprehensive audit reports and facilitate the closure of findings efficiently.
• Capability to identify and coordinate with a SANAS-accredited certification body for recertification.

Skills Requirements

The skills and competencies required from the service provider include:

• Strong expertise in ISO 9001:2015 standards and quality management systems.
• Experience in conducting internal audits and facilitating external certification audits.
• Qualified Lead Auditors with relevant accreditation and extensive experience (more than 5 years preferred).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
• Effective communication skills for engaging with ASA personnel and external certification bodies.
• Ability to prepare detailed audit reports and documentation for certification purposes.
• Project management skills to adhere to timelines and deliverables as specified in the tender.
