Objectives

Technical Requirements

• Submission of proof of registration on the National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Provision of relevant documentation such as B-BBEE certificates, sworn affidavits for specific goals (e.g., ownership by black people, women, persons with disabilities, youth).
• Compliance with responsiveness criteria, including location proof, and other specified goals.
• Attending a compulsory briefing session (if declared so) and providing record of attendance.
• Submission of security clearance documentation if required.
• Adherence to tax obligations and submission of all necessary tax clearance documents.

Skills Requirements

• Ability to deliver catering services that meet the quality standards specified by the Department.
• Competence in preparing and serving food in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Experience in managing catering operations within a government or similar institutional setting.
• Capacity to comply with administrative and contractual requirements, including documentation and reporting.
• Knowledge of procurement and compliance procedures, including B-BBEE and preferential procurement regulations.
