Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a Staphylococcus aureus ELISA kit (specifically the Staphylococcal Enterotoxin Total ELISA Kit - E-FS-E118) to support laboratory testing and research activities related to Staphylococcus aureus detection.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Provision of one (1) set of the Staphylococcal aureus Enterotoxin Total ELISA Kit (product code: E-FS-E118).
• Suppliers must meet technical and quality specifications, including providing relevant documentation such as specifications, catalogues, Certificates of Analysis (COA), and data sheets.
• Adherence to procurement procedures and submission of compulsory documents as specified.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the ELISA kit include:

• The kit must be suitable for detecting Staphylococcus aureus Enterotoxin Total.
• Suppliers must provide detailed specifications, catalogues, COA, and data sheets with their quotation.
• The product must comply with the general conditions of government procurement (July 2010).
• Suppliers should be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) with a report not older than 2 months (for South African bidders).
• International bidders must request an SBD 1 form from the procurement department and submit a completed SBD 4 declaration form.

Skills and Evidence Requirements

Suppliers must demonstrate the following:

• Registration on the CSD (for South African bidders) with active status.
• Submission of a valid BBBEE certificate indicating the level of black ownership, gender ownership (if applicable), or disability status (if applicable).
• Completion, signing, and submission of the SBD 4 Bidder’s Disclosure form.
• Provision of product specifications, catalogue, COA, and data sheet to verify technical compliance.
• Adherence to procurement policies and submission of compulsory documents to avoid disqualification.
