Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to establish a 12-month contract for security banking services at Murchison Hospital, ensuring secure handling and management of banking and security operations related to the institution's needs.

Scope

The scope includes the provision of security banking services for a period of 12 months, covering activities such as cash collection, conveyance, storage, and delivery, with specific requirements for weekly collections on Wednesdays and potential additional collections as needed. The services are to be performed at N2 Main Harding Road, Murchison Hospital, KwaZulu-Natal.

Technical Requirements

• Provision of weekly cash collection and banking services, specifically on Wednesdays, with flexibility for additional collections if necessary.
• Use of secure stop loss bags and sealed containers for cash conveyance, capable of accommodating security devices.
• Responsibility for any loss or damage to cash during collection and transportation.
• Personnel must carry valid identification at all times during cash collection.
• Provision of a file of identification documents of personnel involved in cash collection.
• Adherence to specified quality standards, with no requirement for samples.
• Compliance with all relevant security, health, and safety standards as specified in the detailed specifications.

Skills Requirements
