Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure 100 packs of calibrated PPH (Pneumatic Postpartum Hemorrhage) drapes that meet specified standards and technical requirements, ensuring quality and compliance with relevant regulations.

Scope

The scope encompasses the supply of calibrated PPH drapes to RK Khan Hospital, KwaZulu-Natal, as a once-off procurement. The supplier must provide the specified quantity, adhere to technical and quality standards, and comply with all contractual and regulatory requirements outlined in the tender documentation.

Technical Requirements

• The product must be calibrated to accurately measure blood volume loss post-delivery.
• The drapes should be capable of measuring and calibrating blood loss effectively.
• The item must conform to SANAS, SABS, ISO, or other relevant certification standards if applicable.
• The product should be new, unused, and of the latest model with all design and material improvements.
• The packaging must prevent damage during transit and be marked according to specifications.
• The supplier must provide a valid BBBEE certificate and SANAS logo certification.
• Delivery must be completed within the specified delivery period, with all documentation compliant with contractual requirements.

Skills Requirements

• Knowledge of medical device standards and calibration processes.
