Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure deodorant sprays (men and ladies) in accordance with the attached specifications and addendums, ensuring the supply of quality products that meet the specified standards for use at Townhill Hospital.

Scope

The scope includes the supply and delivery of deodorant sprays (120ml) for both men and women, with quantities specified in the specifications (e.g., 1000 units for ladies and 1319 units for men). The procurement covers the entire process from quotation submission, sample provision, to final delivery at Townhill Hospital, KwaZulu-Natal.

Technical Requirements

• Deodorant sprays must be 120ml in size, suitable for both men and women.
• Products must conform to the detailed specifications provided in Addendum 1 & 2, including quality standards and packaging.
• Samples of the products are required for evaluation purposes.
• The products should be of good quality, new, unused, and incorporate recent design and material improvements.
• Suppliers must provide samples upon request and ensure the products meet the specifications outlined.
• All products must comply with the specified standards and quality requirements.

Skills and Competency Requirements

• Ability to supply and deliver deodorant sprays in the specified quantities and within the stipulated timeframe.
• Capability to provide samples for evaluation and meet technical specifications.
• Knowledge of procurement procedures, including submission of correct documentation, sample provision, and compliance with specifications.
• Understanding of the relevant legislation, including the Public Finance Management Act, Preferential Procurement Regulations, and related compliance requirements.
• Experience in handling government procurement processes and adherence to quality standards.
• Effective communication skills for inquiries, clarifications, and submission of documentation.
