The primary objective of this tender is to procure a high-density server solution, redundant networking infrastructure, and backup power systems to host and support the Marion Island Marine Mammal Program (MIMMP) database. The solution aims to modernize existing infrastructure, ensure high availability, hardware resilience, and data security in a remote, extreme sub-Antarctic environment, minimizing risks of data loss and downtime.
