Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure services for replacing two compressors for a heat pump at Hlabisa Hospital's laundry department. The aim is to ensure the proper functioning of equipment, maintain water supply to the wards and main kitchen, and uphold operational efficiency.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Replacing two compressors with model: C-SCS435H38 AC 3PH 50HZ 380-415V REF: R407C OIL FV685
• Ensuring the equipment is left in a working condition
• Recharging the unit with gas and testing for leaks
• Removing rust and painting with primer and finishing paint (grey, 1 litre)
• Reporting at maintenance and completing relevant registers for payment

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements specify that:

• The compressor model must be as specified: C-SCS435H38 AC 3PH 50HZ 380-415V REF: R407C OIL FV685
• The compressor must be installed and tested to ensure operational condition
• The gas must be recharged, and leaks tested
• The rusted parts must be primed and painted with grey paint (1 litre)
• The service provider must have valid CIDB 1 ME contractor registration, public liability insurance (minimum R3,000,000), and relevant experience
• The service provider must attach necessary certificates, including good standing, SARS registration, and proof of previous work

Skills Requirements

The bidder must possess:

• Valid CIDB 1 ME contractor certification
• Registration with the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
• Valid public liability insurance (minimum R3,000,000)
• Proof of previous experience with similar compressor replacements (completion certificates)
• Registration with SARACCA
• Ability to perform gas recharge, leak testing, rust removal, and painting
• Report writing and documentation skills for maintenance reporting and payment processing
