Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to invite quotations for various services and supplies required by the Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality. These include security guarding services at multiple sites, environmental monitoring, supply of equipment and materials, refurbishment projects, and professional training. The aim is to procure quality services and products through a competitive process to meet the municipality's operational needs.

Scope

The scope of the tender encompasses the following:

• Provision of security guarding services at specified sites such as sleeper sites, pump stations, cemeteries, resorts, and other facilities for a period of three months (90 days).
• Environmental monitoring and sampling (air, water/leachate, waste) at designated landfill sites for six months.
• Supply and installation of software tools, mechanical items, tyres, building materials, and road marking paint.
• Refurbishment of buildings, including flats, change rooms, ablution blocks, and tool rooms.
• Supply and delivery of various materials and equipment necessary for municipal operations.
• Facilitation of skills training programs and data verification of professional qualifications.
• Refurbishment of air conditioners and supply of remote controls at Gonubie Resort.
• Provision of professional consultancy services related to environmental monitoring and other technical requirements.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Provision of security services with trained personnel available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Environmental sampling, testing, and monitoring at specified landfill sites, adhering to relevant standards.
• Supply and installation of software tools for audit and monitoring purposes.
• Delivery of specified mechanical and building materials, including tyres, road marking paint, and building maintenance materials.
• Refurbishment work involving construction, electrical, and plumbing components at designated sites.
• Supply and installation of HVAC equipment, including galvanised cages and remote controls.
• Provision of professional training and verification of educational and professional qualifications.
