Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a suitable service provider to supply and deliver stationery items and printing paper for the Department of Public Works. The aim is to ensure the department has a reliable supplier capable of providing quality stationery and printing materials in a timely manner.

Scope

The scope includes the supply and delivery of various stationery items and printing paper as specified in the detailed scope of work. This encompasses items such as paper reams, counter books, carbon paper, coloured boards, examination pads, lever arch files, calculators, stamps, file dividers, fasteners, binders, index dividers, labels, tape, pens, Post-it notes, flags, punchers, rubber bands, rulers, scissors, staple removers, staplers, staples, and other related office supplies. The delivery address is the Department of Public Works, O.R Tambo, 191 Prince Alfred Street, Pietermaritzburg.

Technical Requirements

• All items must conform to the specifications provided in the detailed scope of work.
• Items must be new, unused, and of the most recent models or current standards.
• Suppliers must provide items in appropriate packaging to prevent damage during transit.
• Delivery must be made to the specified address within the agreed timeframe.
• Suppliers must submit all required documentation, including invoices, delivery notes, and any certificates of compliance.
• All prices must be firm and inclusive of VAT and any applicable taxes.
• Suppliers must adhere to the delivery schedule and ensure timely delivery to avoid penalties.
