Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to construct internal roads and associated stormwater structures in Keiskammahoek, including the Fire Station and Main Road (R352), as well as roads and stormwater structures in Stutterheim. The project aims to improve infrastructure and drainage systems within the specified areas.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Construction of internal roads in Keiskammahoek and Stutterheim.
• Installation of associated stormwater drainage structures.
• Completion of related civil works as detailed in the bid documents.

The scope covers all activities necessary to deliver the specified roads and stormwater infrastructure as per the minimum specifications outlined in the bid documentation.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Adherence to the minimum specifications detailed in the bid document.
• Compliance with CIDB registration requirements (minimum grade 7CE or higher).
• Provision of audited financial statements for the past three years or since establishment.
• Submission of comprehensive joint venture agreements where applicable.
• Completion of all relevant bid forms (e.g., MBD 1, MBD 3, MBD 4, MBD 6, MBD 9).
• Certification of copies not older than six months.
• Submission of municipal rates and taxes or municipal services charges status.
• Compliance with procurement policies, including registration on the National Treasury's Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• All contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the CIDB.

The skills requirements for bidders include:
