Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure security services for the Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality, specifically for the provision of cluster security services in Molteno and Sterkstroom. The services are required for a period of three years, ensuring the safety and security of municipal assets and personnel within the specified clusters.

Scope

The scope of the tender includes:

• Provision of security services across designated clusters, namely Cluster 3 (Molteno and Sterkstroom), as well as other clusters such as Cluster 1 and Cluster 2.
• Maintenance, monitoring, and response to alarms and panic buttons.
• Attendance at scheduled briefings and adherence to signing attendance registers.
• Services to be delivered over a three-year period, with specific locations and timeframes outlined for each cluster.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Provision of trained security personnel capable of maintaining security, monitoring alarms, and responding to incidents.
• Adherence to specified briefing and attendance procedures during scheduled sessions.
• Implementation of effective alarm monitoring and response systems.
• Compliance with the relevant regulations, including the PPPFA Act No. 5 of 2000 and the amended regulations of 2022.
• Provision of security services at designated venues and clusters as per the schedule.
