Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure laptops that meet specified technical and quality standards, ensuring reliable performance for end-users. Scope

The scope of the tender includes the supply of 2 laptops with detailed technical specifications as outlined in the document. The procurement covers all aspects from product delivery to compliance with technical, warranty, and administrative requirements. The scope also encompasses registration on the OBP e-Procurement portal, submission of necessary documentation, and adherence to evaluation criteria based on price and preference points.

Skills and Compliance Requirements

Suppliers must demonstrate the following skills and compliance:

• Provision of proof of previous supply of similar items within the last 24 months (e.g., invoices, delivery notes, reference letters).
• Registration on the OBP e-Procurement portal, with all required documents uploaded during bid submission.
• Provision of a valid CSD report (not older than 2 months) confirming registration, activity, and tax compliance.
• Completion of mandatory forms including SBD1 (for foreign/international companies) and SBD4 Bidder’s Disclosure form.
• Adherence to evaluation criteria based on 80% price and 20% preference points, with preference points awarded for BBBEE status, black ownership, gender ownership, and disability status.
• Compliance with government procurement policies and conditions, including submission on official company letterhead in PDF format before the deadline.
