Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a service provider capable of servicing demand valves used by SAEON Elwandle, including the supply of necessary spares. The service provider must be recognized as an accredited service agent for Poseidon or ScubaPro, ensuring professional servicing and supply of spare parts for underwater SCUBA equipment.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Servicing of SCUBA demand valves, including the supply of spares.
• Providing complete service reports upon completion of work.
• Supply and fitting of specified spares, including hoses and O-rings.
• Courier costs for two return batches to Gqeberha.
• Providing testimonials, accreditation certificates, technician qualifications, and service reports as part of the tender documentation.

The contract is a once-off service/supply arrangement, with specific deliverables and documentation requirements outlined in the tender.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the service provider include:

• Recognition as a Dive Gear Service Agent and accreditation from Poseidon or ScubaPro or an equivalent recognized manufacturer.
• Provision of service reports for all serviced demand valves.
• Supply and fitting of specified spares such as hoses and O-rings.
• Courier arrangements for two return batches to Gqeberha.
• Submission of at least two client testimonials or references confirming underwater equipment servicing.
• Proof of personnel training, certification, and technician qualifications.
• Provision of service certificates or reports following servicing activities.

Skills Requirements

The bidder must demonstrate:

• Recognition as an accredited service agent for Poseidon or ScubaPro.
• Technical expertise in servicing demand valves and related SCUBA equipment.
• Qualified personnel with appropriate training and certification in SCUBA equipment servicing.
• Experience evidenced by testimonials or references from previous clients.
• Ability to supply detailed service reports and certificates.
