Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified training service provider to design and deliver a Decision Making Course aimed at enhancing decision-making capabilities within the VV Department. The course aims to improve critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the application of structured decision-making approaches. It also seeks to strengthen ethical and strategic decision-making, promote collaboration in group settings, and cater to both individual and team development needs.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Designing and delivering customized decision-making training programs.
• Providing facilitation and coaching services for teams and individuals.
• Offering practical tools, models, and frameworks for effective decision making.
• Providing training materials such as manuals, case studies, and digital content.
• Delivering training through both in-person and virtual formats.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the service provider include:

• Educational Qualifications: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or related qualification in disciplines such as Psychology, Education/Training & Development, or Organizational Leadership.
• Accreditation: The provider must be accredited, recognized, or affiliated with relevant national accreditation bodies (e.g., NQF, SAQA, TVET, Ofqual).
• Training Content: The course must cover key decision-making models, critical thinking, problem-solving, structured decision-making approaches, ethical considerations, and strategic decision-making.
• Delivery Methods: Ability to deliver both in-person and virtual training sessions.
• Materials: Provision of comprehensive training manuals, case studies, and digital content.
