Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to supply and deliver 18 units of 2-way bullnose oxygen gauges to Inanda CHC, KwaZulu-Natal, ensuring they meet specified technical standards, are properly tested, and are supported with appropriate training, servicing, and warranty provisions.

Scope

The scope encompasses the procurement, delivery, installation, commissioning, and demonstration of the specified oxygen gauges. It includes providing technical support, training for in-house technicians, optional accessories, spare parts, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and specifications as detailed in the technical documentation.

Technical Requirements

• Supply of 2-way bullnose oxygen gauges with specified specifications (e.g., pressure range, materials, safety features).
• Guarantee of a minimum 24-month warranty with guaranteed uptime of at least 99%.
• Equipment must be CE certified and comply with IEC 60601-1 standards.
• Regulators must be capable of operating at ambient temperatures of 5-50°C, stored for at least 5 years at ±10°C to 40°C, and constructed from brass on the high-pressure side.
• Pressure gauges should be calibrated in kilo-pascals or liters per minute, with clear markings.
• Equipment must include safety valves, filters, and be capable of being stored and used in specified environmental conditions.
• Supply, installation, commissioning, demonstration, and training are required.
• Optional accessories and spare parts must be listed with prices, available for at least 10 years.

Skills and Skills Requirements

• Proven experience in supplying and servicing medical gas regulators and pressure gauges.
• Qualified technical personnel trained by original equipment manufacturers (OEM) for installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of the equipment.
• Established service and repair facilities within KwaZulu-Natal, capable of providing timely support and repairs.
• Ability to demonstrate the product to hospital staff and provide comprehensive training to in-house technicians.
• Knowledge of relevant standards, safety regulations, and environmental conditions applicable to medical gas equipment.
• Capacity to provide ongoing technical support, updates, and spare parts for at least 10 years.
