Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint licensed service providers to collect, treat, and dispose of sanitary waste for the Endumeni Local Municipality over a period of 12 months. The aim is to ensure proper management of sanitary waste in accordance with municipal and environmental standards, providing efficient and compliant waste disposal services.

Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Servicing and management of sanitary waste items such as foam soap dispensers, she bins (bi-weekly), and air towel filters.
• Service of she bin waste on a fortnightly basis.
• Provision of company profile and proof of registration as a sanitary waste disposal company with the Department of Environmental Affairs.
• Provision of all costs associated with the services, including transportation and disposal.

The services are to be delivered at specified locations within the Endumeni Municipality, with adherence to the specifications and conditions outlined in the tender documents.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Provision of 48 foam soap dispensers, 29 she bins (fortnightly), and 11 air towel filters.
• Service of 12 she bin waste units on a fortnightly schedule.
• Provision of proof of registration as a sanitary waste disposal company with the Department of Environmental Affairs.
• Compliance with all relevant environmental and municipal regulations.
• Signing the delivery register at the municipal reception or security point upon service delivery.
