The primary objective of this tender is to identify and support black-owned Small, Micro, and Medium Enterprises (SMMEs) and Qualifying Small Enterprises (QSEs) within the defence industry. Specifically, the initiative aims to foster the growth, sustainability, and operational independence of beneficiaries by providing support through Enterprise and Supplier Development (ESD). The focus is on entities with manufacturing capabilities in sectors such as Defence Industry, Aeronautics, and Technology, contributing to the growth of the South African Defence Industry (SADI).
