Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a comprehensive audio-visual (AV) system, including sound equipment, LED screens, and associated components, for Majuba Power Station. The supplier must ensure timely delivery and provide adequate training and support to station personnel to facilitate proper operation and maintenance of the AV system.

Scope

The scope of the tender encompasses:

• Supply and delivery of the complete AV system, including sound systems, LED screens, and related equipment.
• Provision of on-site training for station personnel on the operation and basic maintenance of the AV equipment.
• Post-delivery support, including warranty services and testing by qualified engineers.

Technical Requirements

The technical evaluation criteria specify the following mandatory requirements:

• Delivery: The supplier must demonstrate the ability to deliver the complete AV system within seven (7) calendar days from order acceptance. A letter confirming this delivery timeframe must be provided.
• Training: The supplier must provide comprehensive on-site training to station personnel. A certificate or qualification of the sound engineer responsible for training, along with a signed confirmation letter, is required.
• Support and Testing: The supplier must provide a certificate for a qualified engineer to perform on-site testing. Evidence of similar services performed previously (proof of past projects) is also required.
• Warranty: A three-year warranty letter from the supplier must be provided, covering the equipment purchased.

Skills Requirements

The skills requirements include:

• Ability to deliver the AV system within the specified timeframe.
• Provision of qualified sound engineers capable of delivering comprehensive training and performing on-site testing.
• Experience in executing similar AV system supply and support services, demonstrated through proof of past projects.
