Scope

The scope of work includes:

• Extraction of the borehole pump at Crocodile Dam.
• Repairs to safety rope and reinstatement of the coupling.
• Supply and installation of electrical cables and joints.
• Installation and commissioning of the borehole pump.
• Traveling to and from the site as required.

The work is to be carried out at the Crocodile Dam site near Buchanan, with all necessary tools, materials, and labor provided by the supplier.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the work include:

• Borehole pump power: 7.5kW electrical.
• Depth of borehole: 120 meters.
• The service provider must provide all necessary tools for extraction.
• Provision of a safety file and adherence to safety practices.
• Correct measurement on-site before and after work.
• Good housekeeping upon completion.
• Personnel must wear appropriate PPE, including reflective vests.
• Sign a permit to work on site.

Skills Requirements

The supplier must possess:

• Registration with the Central Suppliers Database (CSD) with a valid CSD number.
• Proof of good standing with relevant authorities.
• Trade test certificates for fitter, welder, and electrician.
• Traceable completion letters for similar borehole projects.
• Qualified personnel capable of safely extracting and repairing borehole pumps.

Additional Conditions

All alterations to quotations must be signed by the bidder. The quotation must be completed in black ink, signed, and include all compulsory documents to avoid disqualification. The supplier must also provide a safety file and adhere to environmental and safety regulations during execution.
