Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure sets of administration IV Y-site tubing (45mm, 20 drops/ml, 1.8m length) suitable for adult use, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and procurement policies. Scope

The scope encompasses the supply of 17,527 units of IV Y-site tubing with specified dimensions and quality standards to Prince Mshiyeni Memorial Hospital in KwaZulu-Natal. The procurement includes submission of samples, adherence to specifications, and delivery to the hospital's surgical stores. The contract is a once-off purchase with a validity period of 90 days from the date of advertisement.

Technical Requirements

• Standards: Must conform to SABS standards.
• Size and Packaging: Correct size (20 drops, 1.8m), good packaging, and high quality.
• Samples: Two samples required for evaluation, to be submitted on the closing date.
• Specifications: Must meet detailed specifications including size, quality, and packaging as per Annexure A.
• Delivery: To be made to PMMH Surgical Stores, with documentation as specified.
• Warranty: Goods must be new, unused, and free from defects, with a warranty period of 12 months.
