Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure the supply and delivery of various personal protective clothing and uniforms for Midvaal Local Municipality covering the period from 01 July 2026 to 30 June 2029. Additional objectives include establishing a panel of contractors for grass cutting services, providing professional financial assistance, and implementing financial standards such as GRAP 104.

Scope

The scope encompasses:

• Supply and delivery of personal protective clothing and uniforms for municipal staff.
• Provision of grass cutting services on an as-and-when-required basis for a panel of 22 contractors.
• Supply, installation, and commissioning of weighbridges.
• Appointment of a panel of experts to provide professional financial assistance in accordance with generally recognized accounting practices.
• Provision of support for the implementation of the revised GRAP 104 standard on financial instruments.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Adherence to specifications outlined in the bid documents for personal protective clothing and uniforms.
• Compliance with technical proposals for grass cutting, weighbridge installation, and financial assistance services.
• Attendance at compulsory briefing sessions.
• Provision of supporting documents demonstrating capability and compliance with specifications.
