The primary objective of this tender is to establish a once-off contractual agreement for the purchase, collection, and disposal of a scrap 180 MVA transformer at Esselen Substation. The contract aims to facilitate the safe and efficient removal of the specified transformer, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.

The contract is once-off but may involve multiple batch/task orders, each standalone, with quantities dependent on Eskom’s operational needs.
