Technical Requirements

Skills and Competency Requirements

• Bidder must demonstrate compliance with all technical specifications and quality standards specified in the tender documents.
• Provision of valid registration or licensing from the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA) for manufacturing, importing, or distributing medical devices.
• Ability to supply the required quantity within the stipulated delivery period.
• Experience in supplying medical devices of similar nature and standards.
• Capability to provide technical support, documentation, and samples as required for evaluation.
• Compliance with procurement policies, including preference points for Black-owned companies and BBBEE certification where applicable.
• Understanding of the regulatory and administrative requirements related to government procurement processes.
