Objectives

Technical Requirements

• Use of bucket machines with auxiliary equipment, including specified capacity and auxiliary components.
• Provision of mechanical sewer cleaning equipment, including plant registration and licensing.
• Implementation of environmental mitigation measures aligned with the EMPr, including erosion control, dust suppression, water management, heritage protection, and heritage finds management.
• Adherence to safety standards, including PPE, hazard management, emergency procedures, and fire safety.
• Monitoring of water quality, dust, noise, and other environmental parameters as prescribed.
• Effective stakeholder and landowner liaison, including communication and grievance management.
• Proper waste management, including disposal at registered facilities and resource recovery.
• Development and implementation of method statements for all activities, including site establishment, earthworks, erosion control, heritage management, and decommissioning.
• Compliance with all relevant legislation, permits, and standards, including environmental authorisations and water use licenses.
• Provision of detailed project and site plans, risk assessments, and environmental management plans.
