Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure a comprehensive suite of online tools and digital assets to support Iziko Museums of South Africa’s digital infrastructure. This includes licenses, implementation, and configuration of a modular web development platform, content management systems, AI-driven multimedia generation, and digital human assets to enhance digital engagement, content creation, and multimedia workflows.

Scope

The scope encompasses the provision of:

• React-based information architecture and content planning environment (Relume or equivalent)
• Collaborative UI/UX design and prototyping platform (Figma or equivalent)
• Headless Content Management System supporting API-first delivery (Sanity or equivalent)
• Visual CMS-enabled web deployment platform (Webflow or equivalent)
• No-code/low-code development environment supporting rapid prototyping (Claude or equivalent)
• Centralized generative AI platform integrating multiple models for multimedia generation (Higgsfield or equivalent)
• Image generation platforms supporting style transfer, upscaling, and high-quality synthesis (OpenArt, Midjourney, Love Art or equivalents)
• AI video generation capabilities with control over motion, style, and coherence
• High-fidelity digital human assets compatible with industry-standard engines (MetaHuman or equivalent)

The project also includes procurement of all necessary licenses, cloud services, and digital assets, ensuring full integration and operational readiness for institutional, educational, and public-facing deployment.

Technical Requirements

The technical specifications for the tools and platforms include:

• Relume or equivalent: React-based architecture for scalable web deployment with site maps, wireframes, and data schemas.
• Figma or equivalent: High-fidelity UI/UX design, interactive prototyping, stakeholder review workflows.
• Sanity or equivalent: Headless CMS supporting structured content, role-based permissions, API-first delivery.
• Webflow or equivalent: Visual CMS platform supporting responsive design, SEO, and rapid iteration.
• Claude or equivalent: No-code/low-code environment for rapid software prototyping and automation.
• Higgsfield or equivalent: AI media workspace integrating at least 30 top-tier generative AI models supporting image and video generation.
• Image generation platforms (OpenArt, Midjourney, Love Art): Supporting advanced prompting, style transfer, upscaling, and commercial workflows.
• Video generation: Infrastructure capable of high-fidelity AI video with control over motion, style, and coherence.
• Digital human assets (MetaHuman or equivalent): 15 high-fidelity digital human textures, compatible with Unreal Engine, Unity, Maya, etc., including high-resolution maps and rendering data.

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must demonstrate expertise in:

• Web development using React and modern content architecture frameworks
• UI/UX design and prototyping with collaborative platforms like Figma
• Implementation and management of headless CMS solutions (Sanity or equivalent)
• Visual web deployment platforms such as Webflow or similar
• No-code/low-code software development environments (Claude or equivalent)
• AI and multimedia generation, including integration of multiple generative models for images, videos, and assets
• 3D content creation and rendering workflows, including digital human asset development (MetaHuman or equivalent)
• Experience with cloud services, licensing, and digital asset management
• Knowledge of industry standards such as Unreal Engine, Unity, Autodesk Maya, and related pipelines

The bidder should also possess strong project management skills to coordinate the deployment, integration, and transition of these digital tools within the organizational infrastructure.
