Objectives

The primary objectives of this tender are to procure various services and supplies for the Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality, including security guarding services, provision of furniture, installation of fencing, refurbishment works, supply of office furniture, professional consultancy, and other related services. The aim is to meet the operational needs of different municipal departments and facilities through competitive procurement.

Scope

The scope of the tender encompasses a wide range of services and supplies, including but not limited to:

• Provision of unarmed and armed security guarding services at multiple sites for a duration of 3 months (90 days).
• Supply and installation of outdoor furniture with concrete slabs at Gonubie Beach.
• Supply and delivery of office furniture for new municipal offices.
• Refurbishment of community halls, including plumbing, electrical, and related works.
• Refurbishment of caretaker houses and communication training programs.
• Installation of fencing, sliding gates, and other security infrastructure.
• Supply of protective clothing, medication, and other operational inputs.
• Provision of professional services such as design consultancy and testing of boreholes.
• Other miscellaneous services including live streaming of events, asset management, and urban food gardens.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements vary per service but generally include:
