Objectives

Technical Requirements

• Submission of detailed pricing, including breakdowns for each vehicle type.
• Delivery of vehicles within the firm delivery period after receipt of order.
• Provision of relevant vehicle details such as trademark, model, and country of origin.
• Compliance with all specifications and terms outlined in the quotation form.
• Submission of original tax clearance certificates and CSD registration reports.
• Provision of municipal rates and service accounts or lease agreements as proof of business legitimacy.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

The skills and qualification requirements for prospective service providers include:

• Registered and compliant with the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Possession of valid tax clearance certificates and municipal rates accounts.
• Demonstrated experience in vehicle rental services, specifically for municipal or similar public sector projects.
• Ability to provide vehicles that meet technical specifications and delivery timelines.
• Compliance with BBBEE status verification and preference points criteria.
• Capacity to complete and submit all compulsory documentation, including price quotation forms, declaration of interest, and supply chain management declarations.
• Understanding of municipal procurement policies and adherence to the 80/20 preference points system or applicable preference point system as specified.
