Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure the supply and delivery of branded merchandise for the Youth Imbizo 2026 event organized by the Nelson Mandela Museum (NMM). The merchandise includes branded apparel and accessories such as pens, notebooks, and gift bags, all featuring the NMM logo and relevant contact details, to promote the event and the organization.

Scope

The scope encompasses the provision of the following branded items:

• Bright alpha soft touch pens with stylus (150 units)
• A4 spiral-bound notebooks with 60 lined pages (200 units)
• Branded gift paper bags (200 units)

All items must be produced in South Africa by accredited service providers registered with the Central Supplier Database (CSD). The selected supplier must supply samples prior to bulk production and ensure all merchandise meets the specified branding and quality requirements.

Technical Requirements

• Merchandise must be produced locally within South Africa.
• Samples of all items must be provided before bulk production.
• Items should feature full-color branding, including logos, telephone numbers, email addresses, and physical addresses.
• Compliance with the specifications outlined for each merchandise category.
• Adherence to procurement and SCM policies, including verification of local production and supplier accreditation.

Skills Requirements

• Proven competency in manufacturing branded merchandise within South Africa.
• Experience in producing high-quality promotional items with full-color branding.
• Ability to provide samples and meet deadlines for sample submission and bulk delivery.
• Knowledge of local supplier registration processes and verification documentation.
• Capacity to meet the technical and quality standards specified by NMM.
