Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to secure a qualified service provider to deliver comprehensive gardening services at the Sansa Hartebeesthoek Site over a period of three (3) years. The aim is to maintain the site’s landscaping and horticultural standards in accordance with specified safety, environmental, and operational requirements.

Scope of Work

The scope includes, but is not limited to:

• Provision of gardening and landscaping services at the Sansa Hartebeesthoek Site.
• Implementation of site establishment and task method statements.
• Adherence to safety, environmental, and health protocols as outlined in the relevant plans and policies.
• Regular maintenance, inspections, and reporting related to gardening activities.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements encompass:

• Compliance with all safety and health regulations, including the submission of signed baseline risk assessments, safety plans, rescue, emergency, and fall protection plans.
• Provision of necessary equipment, tools, and machinery, with valid documentation such as roadworthy certificates.
• Adherence to environmental management plans, waste management protocols, and relevant permits.
• Provision of qualified personnel with valid competency and medical fitness certificates.
• Implementation of hazard procedures, incident management, and safety induction processes.

Skills Requirements

The successful tenderer must demonstrate:

• Qualified personnel with appropriate skills and valid competency certificates.
• Experience in gardening and landscaping services within similar operational environments.
• Ability to develop and adhere to safety, environmental, and operational plans.
• Proficiency in maintaining safety documentation, inspection registers, and incident management systems.
