Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure vaccine cooler boxes with a capacity of 5-10 liters to support the maintenance of the cold chain from the provincial depot to health facilities, ensuring vaccines are stored and transported at appropriate temperatures.

Scope

The scope includes the supply of 500 vaccine cooler boxes within the specified size, material, and performance specifications. The procurement covers the entire process from order placement, delivery, to compliance with technical and quality standards as detailed in the specifications form.

Technical Requirements

• Dimensions:
  • Internal: Length 210–300mm, Breadth 130–200mm, Height 170–270mm
  • External: Length 250–340mm, Breadth 170–240mm, Height 200–310mm
• Capacity: 5–10 liters with a minimum usable internal volume of 5 liters.
• Material: Recyclable, waterproof, biodegradable cardboard, polyurethane insulation (minimum 30mm thickness), with polyurethane molded insert.
• Construction: Insulated cardboard with polyurethane bottom, sidewalls, and lid; the lid must fit tightly to seal contents during transit.
• Performance: Capable of maintaining internal temperatures between 2°C and 8°C for at least 48 hours at an ambient temperature of 30°C.
• Color: White/buff cardboard and white polyurethane.
• Quality Standards: Validation test results must be provided to confirm performance.

Skills and Skills Requirements

• Proven experience in manufacturing or supplying insulated cold chain containers, specifically vaccine cooler boxes.
• Ability to meet technical specifications and quality standards, including providing validation test results.
• Capacity to produce and deliver 500 units within the specified size, quality, and performance criteria.
• Compliance with environmental standards, including use of recyclable and biodegradable materials.
• Knowledge of cold chain logistics and vaccine storage requirements to ensure product suitability.
• Ability to provide technical documentation, including validation test reports and quality assurance certificates.
