Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure services for the major and minor maintenance of heat pumps at Mosvold Hospital. This includes ensuring the proper functioning, longevity, and safety of the heat pump systems through scheduled servicing, inspections, and repairs as needed.

Scope

The scope encompasses:

• Major and minor servicing of specified heat pump units and associated vessels as per the detailed specifications.
• Inspection, cleaning, testing, and servicing of equipment including vessels, pumps, electrical panels, and control systems.
• Filling and submitting service reports, job cards, and signed schedules post-maintenance.
• Reporting any equipment issues immediately and obtaining approval before executing out-of-schedule repairs.
• Providing detailed quotations for repairs outside scheduled maintenance.
• Adhering to specified safety, quality, and reporting standards during service delivery.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Servicing of heat pumps with specified capacities (e.g., 45.6kW, 30kW, 20.4kW, etc.) and vessels as per attached schedules.
• Inspection and servicing of vessels, vessels, and associated components in accordance with the schedule.
• Checking electrical panels, flow switches, valves, pressure gauges, pumps, and control systems.
• Cleaning and chemical treatment of outdoor units and coils.
• Testing system operation, including run tests and leak inspections.
• Refilling refrigerant gases (e.g., R407C, R410A) as per specified quantities.
• Providing written reports and signed documentation after each service.
• Immediate reporting of any malfunction or abnormality observed during service.

Skills Requirements

The successful bidder must possess:

• Qualified technicians with relevant trade certificates (e.g., qualified fitter, gas handling certification).
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems, heat pump technology, and electrical systems.
• Experience in servicing and maintaining similar HVAC and heat pump systems.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, schematics, and service manuals.
• Competence in conducting system testing, leak detection, and refrigerant handling in compliance with safety standards.
• Capability to prepare detailed reports, documentation, and compliance certificates.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to HVAC maintenance in a hospital environment.
