Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to appoint a suitably qualified service provider to conduct analysis of plant compliance samples for wastewater treatment works at Greenhills and Badirile for the month of June. The analysis aims to ensure compliance with environmental standards and regulations.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Analysis of wastewater samples from two treatment plants (Greenhills and Badirile).
• Testing for specific parameters: COD, SS, E. coli, NH3, pH, NO3/NO2, PO4, and EC.
• Conducting a total of 8 samples per site, with each parameter tested per sample.
• Submission of certified SANAS accredited ISO 17025 (2017) laboratory results.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements include:

• Provision of analysis services for wastewater samples from both treatment plants.
• Samples must be tested for the specified parameters using SANAS accredited ISO 17025 (2017) laboratories.
• Submission of detailed test reports for each sample.
• Compliance with all relevant environmental and municipal standards.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate:

• Relevant accreditation: SANAS accredited ISO 17025 (2017) certification.
• Experience in wastewater analysis and environmental testing.
• Provision of certified copies of accreditation certificates.
• Ability to deliver accurate, timely, and compliant test results.
• Submission of all administrative documents, including valid tax compliance certificates, BBBEE certificates or affidavits, and municipal accounts or lease agreements.
